PROJECT ACTIVITIES AND PARTNERSHIP NETWORKS

The Centre successfully implements various projects (regional, national, international). The objectives of the ongoing projects are to improve the professional and personal competences of the Centre staff, to promote linguistic and cultural diversity, to promote multilingualism and to promote the learning of different languages in schools, universities and beyond. The Authority participates in partnership networks of varying size and nature.

The Centre takes on a variety of roles in project activities: project coordinator and partner. The institution has a project coordinator, supervisor and administrator who are responsible for project activities within the institution. The Authority participates in partnership networks at various levels. The effectiveness of project activities is systematically investigated.

For several years now, the Centre has been contributing to the implementation of the Lithuania 2030 Strategy by organizing multilingualism events and promoting language learning in schools, universities and beyond. Such an event is a national commemoration of the European Day of Languages. For several years we have been organizing an exhibition of children’s drawings together with the Lithuanian Children and Youth Center in the Information Office of the Seimas Office of the Republic of Lithuania. Together with Embassies and cultural centers residing in Lithuania, we organize a language learning fair and language workshop in Vilnius Town Hall, as well as the final of the European Language Maze, which is attended by 12 teams of students from all over Lithuania. An educational excursion to the European Parliament in Brussels is organized for the winning team.
